My research interests lie in exploring multicultural aspects of accent and social judgment perception, with a focus on stuttering, pragmatics, and the application of computer mouse-tracking methodologies.

My research primarily delves into socio-indexical cues in speech, exploring their connection to affect, social judgments, pragmatics, and decision making using computer mouse and eye-tracking methodologies. More recently, I have developed interests into how pragmatics and knowledge impact how we understand science.

My Research
My research is centered on the integration of auditory and visual cues in speech perception, particularly in noisy environments, emphasizing multimodal approaches. I am now a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus evaluating the prevalence of depressive disorders and the influence of sociodemographic characteristics on primary health care.
