MADI Lab

In the MADI Lab (Miscommunication and Dialogue Interaction Lab), undergraduate and graduate students work with Jenny Roche, PhD on topics related to how people (primarily neuro-typical adults) communicate and miscommunicate. In our lab, we study communication breakdown and how it is resolved. To do this we focus on things like perspective taking, tone of voice, behavioral alignment, and how social context shapes your communication style. The MADI Lab currently has three graduate students working independent research projects: Christine Suh, Ashley Ferguson, and Lindsay Vale.
